Mary Harb Sheets, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist (PSY13803) who currently serves as a Senior Consultant and trainer for Workplace Guardians, Inc. Her expertise includes corporate training, workplace counseling, critical incident debriefing, management coaching and consulting.  Dr. Harb Sheets has extensive experience assisting organizations with conflict resolution, sexual harassment issues, improving cultural sensitivity, workplace violence prevention, and in developing anger and stress management programs.

Known as a practical and effective trainer, Dr. Harb Sheets has provided training programs to organizations addressing a variety of topics, including leadership development.  She has designed a unique program entitled "Cultures in Conflict: Transcending the Barriers" which is an interactive experience exploring the implications of different cultures in the workplace. Additionally, Dr. Harb Sheets has delivered sexual harassment prevention training programs, including a one-on-one coaching program designed specifically for key employees involved in harassment claims. She has provided grief counseling services to organizations which have experienced incidents of workplace tragedy and loss.

Dr. Harb Sheets received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University, and earned both a Master's Degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. Dr. Harb Sheets also has served as an adjunct faculty member at San Diego State University (SDSU) where she trained and supervised pre- and post-doctoral psychology interns.  She is currently Adjunct Faculty at Alliant University, CSPP teaching Advanced Law and Ethics. 

A member of the American Psychological Association (APA), California Psychological Association (CPA), and the San Diego Psychological Association (SDPA), Dr. Harb Sheets has served on various committees, on the Board of Directors, and as President for SDPA. Previously, she chaired the Cross-Cultural Issues, Ethics, and Public Relations Committees, and currently chairs the Past Presidents Committee at SDPA. She is the current Chair of the CPA Ethics Committee having been a member for of that committee for six years. Dr. Harb Sheets is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (#43778) an organization which certifies psychologists who are trained and experienced in the delivery of preventive and consultative services, assessment, and treatment.
