Site Security Surveys

A Good Place to Start

One of the most important components of creating a comprehensive workplace violence prevention plan is the site security survey. The site security survey may also be known by other names, such as a security assessment, security audit, and security review.

The site security survey is a systematic assessment of your current security program. At first glance, you may think this involves looking at your “locks, alarms, and lights.”

However, while assessing these components is certainly part of the process, the survey includes much more. Our site security survey includes the following components:

  • Identifying the risks and vulnerabilities of your facilities
  • Assessing for strengths and weaknesses, and areas where security measures can be improved.
  • Examining policies, procedures, training and staffing
  • Making recommendations for an optimal security program for your organization.

Our security professionals developed their expertise during careers in law enforcement, and have further honed their skills through membership in ASIS International, viewed as the premiere security organization. Professional designations include the Certified Protection Professionals (CPP), (earned from ASIS International), and the Certified Threat Manager (CTM), (earned from the International Association of Threat Assessment Professionals).

Clients can be certain that WGI’s security professionals possess the knowledge and experience to ensure a meaningful and successful site security survey.
